Poecilotheria ornata, known as the bordered decorative or resplendent tiger arachnid, is an enormous arboreal tarantula which is endemic to creepy crawly home Sri lanka. Their legspan now and again arrives at 10 inches (25 cm) in females, and is presumably the second biggest of the class, behind Poecilotheria rufilata

Dorsally, carapace has greenish yellow or purplish hint. Femur is greenish hint with a purplish hint. Tibia has two equal lines of elongated yellow spots. All legs have rosy earthy colored setae and setae are progressively noticeable on pedipalps and chelicerae.
Ventrally, first and second leg sets are indistinguishable, with ground shading yellow. Femur is additionally yellow. Tibia is brilliant yellow hued. Third and fourth leg sets are indistinguishable. Ground shade of them are yellow. Femur is dark with midway found enormous blue-dim spot.

Dorsally greenish earthy colored hued. Markings are less conspicuous. Ventrally, indistinguishable from female. Yellow spots can be seen on third and fourth leg sets.
