In sunlight this arachnid reveals a very extreme purple-blue radiance on the dorsal surface of the cephalothorax and on legs, palps and chelicerae. The long setae covering the legs and palps are dull red-earthy colored. The tarsal and metatarsal scopulae are dull earthy colored. The tarsal tufts are pale cream-pink in shading. The midsection is velvet-dark and secured with stinging hairs.
